Joining the Global Procurement team, this individual will play a key role in analyzing the NPI build demands and forecast to our suppliers accordingly for assigned.  This position works very closely with Procurement Business Partners (PBP’s) and Commodity Managers to meet overall NPI procurement and manufacturing objectives.  It offers an excellent opportunity for a high-energy and results-oriented individual to be directly involved with delivering products to market and making significant contributions to growth.

This position is targeting an individual with a proven track record as a purchasing professional with demonstrated leadership capability. Key attributes include attention to detail and project management skills



  • Analyze weekly NPI Build schedules to forecast demand, for assigned commodities, based on supplier lead-times.
  • Interface with Procurement Business Partners and Commodity Management to insure material availability to support prototype builds through staging, development and product launch.
  • Plans, advises management of the status of; work in progress, material availability, and potential shortages to ensure internal customer requirements/schedules are met.
  • Review supply commits against forecasts and address any issues and priorities.
  • Work with Procurement Business Partner’s team to develop and monitor flexibility and safety stock strategies.
  • Review and Manage Planning models
  • Manage supplier inventory and safety stock levels.
  • Use analytics to develop trends and identify R&Os.
  • Identifying and communicating changes in requirements (demand/forecast), rescheduling and/or cancellation of existing Purchase Orders and executing with suppliers. Includes, expediting and communicating status of shortages as defined by Oracle MRP system and/or manual planning.
  • Supply Chain risk assessment including development of mitigation strategies and implementation plans.
  • Develops and implements the capability and necessary systems to ensure adequate supply of material
  • Develop, foster and maintain partnering relationships with Suppliers
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills which requires independent analysis and judgement along with ability to lead problem resolution and implementation of corrective action
  • Effective interface and influence within and outside the organization
  • Ability to be self-managed in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision
  • Receive customer forecasts and convert to build plans in ERP system or provide to EMS provider in excel format (as required)

  • Minimum of five (5) years of business related experience is required
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Supply Chain Management or Project Management is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized, proficient in Oracle, Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills are required.
  • Proficiency of SAP, Oracle, and Excel of other forecasting/planning software is preferred.
  • Understanding of ERP systems, with  emphasis on Development, Production and Planning
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), as well as the ability to manage and successfully meet goals and objectives. Ability to influence across various levels of organization is required.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering business results as an outcome of cross functional collaboration is required.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment where priorities change rapidly, and tight deadlines exist is required
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with ability to manipulate large sets of data

  • Knowledge and understanding of S&OP, purchasing, forecasting and inventory management
