Job Description:  
        
This role assists in all aspects of Western Digital & SanDisk’s social media channels: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, including creating content, scheduling, responding to customer posts, identifying issues and trends, running and analysing traffic reports, and working to grow the forums into successful and vibrant communities.  This is an international role covering EMEA and requires working with cross-functional teams from product and channel marketing to technical support to implement ideas and exceed customers’ expectations.
  • Schedule content using tools such as Percolate & Sprinklr
  • Generate social media content, using own creative skills and also briefing to external agencies where necessary
  • Manage and moderate the online communities, including influencer relationships and programs
  • Work with multiple remote agencies to manage social media programs across EMEA
  • Research and respond to complex posts
  • Identify posts that can become hot issues and take action to resolve them
  • Identify posts that can be used as answers in the knowledge base
  • Work with Branded/Marcom team to enhance the WD image and brand
  • Gather customer feedback, bubble up trends and ideas to cross-functional teams
  • Work effectively with co-workers, customers and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner
  • Collaborate with Tech Support, Marketing and other teams to manage and grow the community
  • Address problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solutions 
  • Generate regular reporting and insights on platform and content performance

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Marketing or equivalent.
  • Must be technically literate and proficient
  • 2- 4 years experience of Social Media in similar industry
