  • Provide HAMR head magnetic and optical characterization for writer, reader and laser.
  • Data collection, statistical data analysis to identify root cause
  • Work with WDF on HAMR head design, specifications and test procedures.
  • Recommend and implement improvement measures
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in Engineering or Material Science
  • A minimum of 6 years in any Dynamic Electrical Tester / Guzik Spin Stand
  • Experienced in Characterizing magnetic reader / writer performance
  • Familiar with statistical experimental design methods and MINITAB / JMP Software
  • Knowledge and experience in Material Characterization Methodology
  • Experienced in FA and FMEA
  • In-depth technical understanding and hands on experience with Guzik DET testing
  • Good background in Guzik setup and test sequence
  • Good understanding in magnetic, optic and thermal physics for reader, writer and optical waveguide
  • Good project management skill
  • Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work in a cross functional multicultural team environment
  • Good proficiency and communication skills in English.
  • Strong listening, communication, interpersonal and relational skills to develop a good relationship within the organization
