Responsible for high performance and robust tracking controller and seek controller design and real-time servo firmware development for enterprise-class hard disk drives. Architect servo system for better vibration/shock rejection. Active involvement in drive integration and new servo feature/firmware development. Provide failure analysis support to manufacturing and reliability testing. Perform simulation and prototyping of advanced technologies and servo subsystems and evaluate its feasibility.
Previous experience in controller design (robust/non-linear control) and embedded firmware. Excellent working knowledge of MATLAB/Simulation, signal processing and excellent communication skills. C/C++ and assembly language programming skills are preferred.
