The Legal Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of administrative duties, including but not limited to development and maintenance of document systems, correspondence and assisting in special projects.  The position requires flexibility, initiative and ability to prioritize.  An organized self-starter who will thrive in a fast-paced environment.



  • Coordinate meetings with both internal and external entities

  • Schedules meetings, coordinates travel, and handles logistics for on-site/off-site meetings

  • Compose correspondence, presentations and reports

  • Preparation of expense reports as a job requirement

  • Work on special projects, interacting with high-level contacts internally or externally

  • Assist with development and enhancement of Corporate presentations for executives and stakeholders

  • Develops and maintains filing systems, including department databases

  • Assists with maintaining SharePoint sites for identified functions within the Legal Department

  • Assists with preparation of ethics and compliance training materials and maintaining attendance records

  • Acts as an information source on organization policies and procedures

  • Supports assignments that can be complex and time-sensitive in nature, as necessary

  • Searches for solutions based on acquired knowledge

  • Exercise independent judgment and initiative in resolving complex and non-recurring problems

  • Attention to detail, accuracy, responsiveness and high sense of urgency to work requests is required

  • Process-oriented with demonstrated experience preparing and organizing records, data and information

  • Ability to manage multiple on-going priorities while meeting deadlines

  • Highly professional with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, departments, and other administrative professionals

  • Ability to proactively anticipate needs and adjust processes and plans based on unforeseen circumstances

  • Must be resourceful and take the initiative to prioritize and problem solve with limited guidance and supervision.

  • Assist in establishing office policies and procedures in order to eliminate redundancy and inefficiencies



  • Candidate must have 15+ years of experience in administrative or legal duties, and other administrative duties, such as document processing / filing, meeting scheduling and other administrative tasks

  • A BS/BA degree or equivalent experience is required.

  • Excellent computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat software required

  • Must be a self-starter, organized and have a strong work ethic

  • Must possess strong time management and effective communication skills

  • This position would support a large team and the ability to prioritize work assignments appropriately is a requirement
