JOB SUMMARY
Hostel administration work, preparing budget, collect and pay utilities & rental. Misc. liaison with operator’s complaint, housekeeping and new PKNS hostel relocation coordination work.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • To carry out bed utilization calculation for all hostels
  • Manage contract and lease for hostels
  • Write SOW for contracts associated with hostels
  • Collect and manage utility bills and provide trending of utility consumption
  • To ensure compliance to WDM safety policy
  • To execute special assignment as when delegated by engineer /manager
  • Ensure commonality/standardization among same process/system within related manufacturing sites.
  • To ensure service delivery at every point of sale in the Food and Beverage Department.  He or she therefore supervises and co-ordinates the Food and Beverage Department.
  • Responsible and accountable to manage the WDM Food Court Operation and Event , in charge of general operations of a food court, making sure it runs smoothly according to WD Food Court policies and procedure.
  • Create an environment that inspires both employees and customers in WDM, deliver positive experience for customers and employees as they learn shop and get support.
  • Food and beverage supervisors are responsible for the daily operations of businesses that prepare and serve food and drinks to customers / employees.
  • Food and beverage supervisors are generally responsible for all of the business operations of a dining establishment.
  • Duties typically include interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling and managing employees, as well as overseeing inventory, including food and beverages, supplies and other restaurant equipment.
  • Also responsible for resolving customer complaints regarding food quality and service and making sure the business complies with health and food safety regulations.
  • In addition, most F&B officer to perform administrative tasks such as managing payroll and writing budgets, access processing, work permit, Environmental Health and Safety/Security related matter with respective departments.
  • To ensure that the customer promise is delivered and that customers are satisfied within the framework of financial targets set.
  • To ensure that guests receive high quality service.
  • To ensure that the applicable regulations are complied with.
  • To be responsible for his or her own results.
  • To optimize the supply chain and the use made of raw materials.
     
 
Qualifications
 
REQUIRED
  • Bachelor degree in Human Resource/ Hospitality Management/ Health & Safety Management/ F&B Operations/ Vendor Management Operations or Employee Service Operations.
     
PREFERRED
  • SPM with 5 years’ experience in house-keeping and/or building repair & maintenance
  • Degree in any engineering discipline with three years working experience in building repair & Maintenance.
  • 1-3 years of experiences in Marketing, Advertising, or Customer Service.
  • Strong teamwork, Independent, able to control supplier, passionate with his/her work, endurance.

  • Knowledge of inventory techniques.
  • Knowledge of audit process.
  • Have confident manner, helpful and polite.
  • Have comprehensive understanding of food court operation will be an advantage.
  • Customer Service Skill to interact with customers.
