  • The successful candidate will fully understand all aspects of i2, the master planning tool used by Western Digital Silicon Operations. The candidate will take full ownership of Long Term Capacity Plan (i2 instance) and take on initiatives to refine long term loading forecasting process. 
  • Capacity Planning role requires the candidate to work closely with Product Planning, Product Engineering Test Engineering (PETE) and Overseas Factory teams to Plan and Execute Capacity Requirement Plan over a 18 Month Horizon.
  • Valuable experience will be gained by working, organizing, and driving overseas factories to meet planned capacity goals.  Moreover, the candidate must demonstrate mental perceptiveness and a high level of intelligence by evaluating mutually exclusive demands to formulate an optimized solution which will provide the capacity needed to satisfy current and future product demands. Demand changes occur weekly, forcing the candidate to constantly adjust previous plans to meet ever changing requirements.  Flexibility in one’s thinking is critical to success in the Capacity Planning Group.
  • Finally, the candidate will move beyond daily responsibilities to improve existing business procedures by turning those procedures into specified business processes and documenting them.  Included in these procedures is the UPH refresh process and Bill Of Resource upload automation process


·        Bachelor Degree in IT/ Supply Chain Management/ Management / Science
·        Minimum 3-5 years of supply planning experience specializing in EMS/Semiconductor.
·        Possesses good analytical & presentation skills
·        Ability to work independently with internal customers at all levels & with various cultural background.
·        Ability to work under pressure
·        Working knowledge of an APS such as i2 SCP
·        Knowledge in Semiconductor industry supply chain processes and activities
·        Working knowledge of applications such as MS Excel, MS Access & SQL
·        Very strong data analytics, presentation, and communication skills
·        Highly experienced in extracting, manipulating and reporting data from multiple sources
·        Ability to learn new technologies and tools
·        Strong attention to detail
·        Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
·        Experience in working with a multinational team
