ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Polish machines maintenance and sustenance.
  • Lead team on troubleshooting and maintaining and sustaining the equipment.
  • OEE improvement projects.
  • Oversee and be accountable for the maintenance of department production equipment and drive for continuous improvement to achieve the department goals set by management.
  • Oversee the work of the maintenance /sustenance team
  • Establish and implement all equipment specification, troubleshooting procedures, ensure compliance with corporate requirements and procedures.
  • Maintain optimum utilization of equipment and resources, constantly review method to reduce machines downtime, increase equipment throughput, achieve or exceed safety and equipment maintenance KPIs.
  • Lead troubleshooting of equipment problems and apply Root Cause Analysis practices to equipment failure investigations.
  • Liaise with equipment vendors and spare parts suppliers continuously to develop new methods to achieve low cost maintenance system.
  • Improve useful life  of equipment and machinery
  • Work closely with manufacturing engineer , process engineers, planners, buyers and vendors to resolve equipment related issues to improve key equipment indicators, 
  • Formulate with process engineering team on equipment control procedures and drive maintenance team to ensure the equipment are in control using SPC and other methodologies.
  • As individual contributor, will be accountable for projects/programs as well as developing methods and parameters, project methodology and /or project proposals.
  • Responsible for project costing and control related to equipment. Also perform other duties as assigned, Duties will vary according to the project progress and. or the specific goals of the division.
  • Participate actively and lead in key project such as cost reduction , yield improvement ,Cpk. Improvement, new machine qualification, process optimization, cycle time improvement and new pars evaluation/qualification
  • Incorporate efficient methods of maintaining new equipment, and may be involved in the installation and commissioning process.
  • Ensure compliance with company Lean maintenance strategy and initiatives.
  • Drive the team of Technicians to participate in all continuous improvement projects.
  • Coaches, mentor and conduct training for targeted organization on equipment engineering systems.
  • Participate in cross-functional team on various improvement projects.
  • Knowledge of tools and methodologies like SPC.FMES,DOE,FIshBone Analysis, 8D, etc.
  • Demonstrated leadership skill, good presentation, team-building and communications.
  • Must be higher energetic and have the drive to get thing done ahead of plan.
  • Willingness to travel/ work off shift long hours and on call mode.
     
Qualifications
 
REQUIRED
  • Minimum  Bachelor Degree in Mechanical /Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent
 
PREFERRED
  • 3-5 years working experience as an equipment Engineer Preferred.
  • High fluency in both spoken and written English.
     
SKILLS
  • Knowledge in mechanical and electrical.
  • Familiar/able to perform Electrical Control Wiring.
  • Knowledge in PLC, HMI program (Mitsubishi, Fuji, Proface).
