Sales Compensation Analyst

  • Maintain our Xactly Incent cloud-based, incentive compensation solution
  • Be a subject matter expert for Xactly Incent & incentive compensation planning
  • Recommend and document best practice processes & improve manual processes
  • Prepare Xactly Incent load files with quotas and credits and other key information
  • Create, route, track and reconcile sales incentive plans. This includes understanding and applying the plan consistently, maintaining quotas and credits, and timely plan acceptance of plan documents
  • Contribute and perform support activities needed for the development, implementation, communication, and administering of sales incentive plans, quota, credits and policies
  • Work on special projects such as process improvements & documentation, data analysis, ad-hoc reporting, training and presentations
  • Respond to inquiries from sales teams or cross-functional teams in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with other business partners and departments such as Sales, Sales Operations, Product Business Units, Finance, HR, Compensation and IT for required business needs & to drive on-going process refinement to improve the efficiency and accuracy of sales incentive quota, credits and reporting.
  • Validate, audit, administer and submit monthly and/or quarterly Sales Incentive quota, attainment & payments within specified deadlines for assigned sales team(s)


Experience / Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of sales incentive compensation experience, including use of automated incentive comp systems such as Xactly
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and ability to multi-task with moderate supervision
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a team-oriented environment delivering tangible results with demonstrated project/business process improvement skills.
  • Experience with SalesForce, ERP systems, CRM systems and sales ops processes
