ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Serve as the Sr HR Business Partner to the innovative eSSD organization within our Flash Product Group of WD, encompassing a global organization of top tier engineering talent.
•Work closely with the functional executive and senior staff to manage strategic initiatives, operational requirements and to establish desired organizational culture.
•Coordinate with leaders on client matters and corporate programs (compensation reviews, short term incentive programs, stock allocation, engagement surveys, organizational health, and change management).
•Coach leaders and employees on wide ranging issues, facilitating both organizational and professional development.
•Partner effectively with the broader, global HR organization and other key groups such as Legal and Finance.
•Assume an added role of liaison with an HR Center of Excellence to support enhanced partnership with COE and client base. Acquire broader view of business.
•Partner effectively with Talent Acquisition and organizational management to ensure staffing plans are clear, attained per plan and that communication flows between all parties.
•Ensure effective partnership with all HR COEs to ensure timely delivery of services/products and to support client initiatives.
•Travel as needed to other sites in support of client needs and enabling effective partnerships.
•Demonstrate a keen awareness of the cost and internal equity impact of potential HR actions. Partner with Finance.
•Demonstrate ability to utilize business software applications and prepare professional documents/reports. Be motivated and comfortable working within a data driven environment.
•Serve as a champion of the client organization to the HR team and a trusted, highly competent advisor to members of the client's management team.
•Support performance management, career paths and a culture aligned with organizational and professional development.
•Demonstrate ability to write concisely and make effective presentations.
•Effectively utilize data from varying sources to present relevant and accurate information for client and HR organizations.
•Facilitate discussions of organizational survey data and support implementation of resulting initiatives.
•BA degree with coursework in HR related areas; Master’s degree and/or professional certifications preferred.
•10-12 yrs min. related experience, with exposure to: M&A, organizational development, talent acquisition, total rewards, HRIS/analytics, management coaching, performance management, organizational restructuring, employee relations and employee engagement.
•Prior experience with high growth, innovative, multi-cultural technology organizations preferred.
