ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify “break in” opportunities
at new target markets and existing named accounts for net new business Identify
target new customers
Assess the business opportunity,
map customer contacts, develop engagement strategy and execute on it Develop
new product engagement plans for existing accounts by assessing opportunities
at new products, different business units or building new use cases
Pursue identified opportunities
and build long-term customer relationships Partner with account executives to
determine WDC individuals needed to execute entire sales motion from lead to
close (e.g., pull in product marketing to define product positioning and value
prop, provide collateral, meet with customers)
Ensure a successful transition of
new customer coverage to relevant account manager, sales engineer and
BSEE or Master Degree with
minimum 5 years. A working knowledge of storage industry is desirable.
Good command of English, both in
verbal and writing, good communications skills internally and externally.
Strong debugging, problem solving
skills with proven experience.
In-depth knowledge or
understanding of storage product, esp., SSD and HDD.
Self-motivated, team spirit and
customer oriented mindset, ability to work independently in a team.
