The Recruiter will support Western Digital’s growth objectives by creating and deploying hands-on full-cycle recruitment strategies to timely strengthen the organization’s capabilities and ensure it has the talent to meet current and future business needs. Part of the role is to create strong business partnerships with internal clients and lead the full life cycle recruitment process. You will be responsible for developing multiple sourcing channels, including candidate pipelines, to attract the best active and passive candidates, while leveraging technology to ensure an effective and efficient process. You will be responsible for building and maintaining excellent relationships with hiring managers, HR business partners and candidates.

                                                   

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Planning and conducting recruitment and selection activities (interviews, screening calls etc.) 

  • Partnering and consulting to hiring managers from job description definition to salary proposal and manage the on boarding process

  • Crafting and implementing a creative and comprehensive sourcing strategy by building relationships with passive candidates and talent pools across a wide variety of job families

  • Be part of leading employment branding initiatives

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of experience in recruiting and sourcing for a global high-tech company – advantage

  • Experience in conducting personal interviews - mandatory

  • Experience with working in a complex recruiting environment

  • Vast experience in Boolean searches for sourcing purposes and social media (searching, creative posting etc.)

  • Strong capabilities of engaging with passive candidates

  • Vast knowledge on market trends and effectively responding to shifts in the market that present new recruiting opportunities

  • Bachelor's Degree - mandatory

  • Fluent English (other languages – advantage )
