Pricing/Deal Desk Analyst

As a Deal Desk Analyst, you will be supporting the Sales team in driving opportunities, with existing and new logos, by providing pricing guidance for deals, system configuration support, including pricing, deal structure, ensuring proper approvals, recording, and approving any back-end rebates.  This position includes improving the deal process through constant evaluation and input from the field and providing requirements to IT for systems enhancements.

You will collaborate with the Sales Team, Business Operations, Forecasting, IT, Product Management, Engineering, Legal, Accounting, as well as other internal stakeholders to ensure that Deal Desk and Revenue Operations tasks are prioritized and addressed.


  • Function as the point of contact and subject matter expert for Sales on deal pricing matters
  • Quick and accurate pricing responses to Sales teams
  • Ensuring deal pricing meets business unit objectives
  • Drive adherence to internal controls, protocols and business rules while still respecting individual customer needs
  • Maintain a focus on continuous process improvement by identifying opportunities for efficiency and training while implementing time/resource saving solutions for scaling revenue
  • Work with the field Sales Teams, Product Management, Management, Legal and Accounting to ensure negotiated deals are in alignment with company policies
  • Reporting of deals
  • Complete occasional analytical projects

  • Must be able to respond to sales teams’ requests within agreed upon SLA
  • Strong and active listening skills and overall communication skills, both written and verbal to understand and address customer and sales teams needs
  • Work well in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to be responsible, flexible, accountable and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task, adapt and prioritize to meet deadlines.  Keeping track of multiple deals in flight at the same time.
  • Advanced Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications- Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
  • Experience with business case development, price modeling
  • Experience with CPQ systems and Special Pricing request processes
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related area of study and/or 2-5 years of Deal Desk and/or Sales Operations experience
